T.C. Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Directorate of Religious Affairs Tokat Mufti's Office Panel on Ahilik from Tradition to Tradition was held in Tokat

About the Event

On the occasion of 23-29 September Ahilik Week, Tokat Governorship, Tokat Municipality, Provincial Mufti's Office, Provincial Directorate of National Education and Ahilik Committee collaborated to organise a programme of Knowledge Talks.

Ahi Evran University Faculty Members Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel, Prof. Dr. Fazıl Yozgat and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel.

Hüseyin Öztürk attended.

Ahmet Hamdi Aydoğan made the opening speech of the programme on behalf of the Ahi Committee. In his speech, Mr Aydoğan talked about the importance of the Ahi culture.

Then Osman Sarı, Deputy Governor of Tokat, made his speech. The Deputy Governor gave information about the connection of our province with the ahi culture.

In the panel moderated by Provincial Director of National Education Hüseyin Kır, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel made presentations on 'Who is Ahi Evran?', Prof. Dr. Fazıl Yozgat on 'Economic Aspects of Ahiism' and Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Öztürk on 'Professional Ethics in Ahiism'.

Deputy Governor Osman Sarı, 22nd Term AK Party Deputy Prof. Dr. Osman Demir, Erbaa Chief Public Prosecutor Mustafa Değerli, Provincial Director of National Education Hüseyin Kır, Provincial Deputy Mufti Nuri Tapan, heads of professional chambers, tradesmen, representatives of institutions and the public attended the panel.
