Psychologist Senai Demirci guided the participants from both scientific and spiritual perspectives with his seminars on Educational Psychology.
Within the scope of the “City of Peace Tokat” project carried out in Tokat, Psychologist-Author Senai Demirci, who is known in the field of Educational Psychology, came to the city and held a series of training programmes. In the seminars organised in cooperation with Eğitim-Bir-Sen Tokat Branch and Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, it was emphasised that education is not only about transferring information, but also a process that touches the emotional world of individuals.
In his presentations, Demirci stated that in addition to the academic success of students, their efforts and learning from their mistakes should also be taken into consideration. He also pointed out that empathy, courtesy and communication skills in teacher-student relations directly affect educational success.

In the trainings, topics such as mutual respect of pedestrians and drivers, elegance in social communication, and the language of love in family relations were also discussed in a way to contribute to Tokat's vision of “City of Peace”.
Project officials stated that such seminars play an important role in raising social awareness in Tokat and said, “City of Peace Tokat project aims to make the culture of courtesy and delicacy visible in all segments of the society. Mr Demirci's trainings have made significant contributions to this goal”.
