Giving information about the project which aims to address traffic congestion and problems by promoting moral values, empathy and self-discipline among citizens, Governor Numan Hatipoglu said, "We have started a project called City of Peace Tokat together with the National Agency. In order for our city, which bears the traces of an ancient culture and civilisation, to regain the deep-rooted habits of its history, we wish to have streets and avenues where our citizens walk around in peace, and for our tradesmen to behave in a very kind and polite manner. We have studies in this context. We have training activities. In our project, with our guests from Romania and Portugal, we stopped our citizens who obey the traffic rules at the gendarmerie point this time to convey our thanks. With our City of Peace Tokat Project, I hope that the beauties of Tokat arising from its ancient culture will be revealed with every region and every region."
