About the Event

In order to create a more peaceful life and city environment in Tokat, a conference on "Financial Literacy" and "Conscious Use of Internet and Social Media in the Context of Peaceful Society" was held in the "City of Peace Tokat" Project, which was carried out under the coordination of Tokat Governorship with the support of National Agency.

Innovations in Health and Education

With the improvements to be realised in the fields of health and education in Tokat, it is planned to touch all segments of the city. Within the scope of the project, modern medical facilities and innovative methods in education will lay the foundations of a more livable city environment.

Infrastructure and Landscaping

Infrastructure and landscaping works will enable Tokat to take important steps towards becoming a sustainable city. Within the scope of these works, solutions for traffic problems will also be developed and urban transport will be relieved.

Digital Media and Social Peace

26 June The event, which took place in Atatürk Cultural Centre within the scope of the City of Peace Tokat Project, started with the opening speech of Deputy Governor Osman Sarı. In the event, the effects of digital media use on social peace were emphasised. Lecturer Latif Bilgiler and Social Worker Elif Sevim Yılmaz drew attention to the positive effects of the internet and social media on society.

Financial Literacy Training

In the third part of the training, valuable information on financial literacy was presented by Prof. Dr. Mihriban Coşkun Arslan. This information aims to contribute to the economic awareness of the people of Tokat.
