About the Event

Within the scope of the City of Peace Tokat project, which is a joint work of Tokat Governorship and Tokat Municipality, a panel on "Error Book" was organised by Dr. Senai Demirci for academicians, teachers and students in the historical atmosphere of Yağıbasan Madrasah, known as the first university of Turkey. Dr. Demirci emphasised the importance of learning from mistakes and stated that we learn the most from our mistakes. The panel was met with great interest of participants from different age groups.

Tokat Deputy Mustafa Arslan, Tokat Deputy Governor Osman Sarı, Tokat Deputy Governor Derya Bulut, Tokat Deputy Mayor Derya Bulut, Tokat Governorship Project Office Coordinator Şahabettin Akca, President of Chamber of Tradesmen Fehmi Çankaya, teachers from Provincial Directorate of National Education, academicians from Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, students and citizens from various non-governmental organisations attended the programme. At the end of the programme, Deputy Mayor Derya Bulut thanked Dr. Senai Demirci and presented him with a plaque and "Error Book". The event ended in a friendly atmosphere where citizens had the opportunity to chat with Dr Demirci and have their photos taken.
