In the training, disaster and disaster risks of Tokat province were analysed in detail. The participants were given important information about the precautions to be taken before, during and after disasters, the things to be done in disaster situations and psychosocial support.

In his statement, Defterdar Aliaddin KARPINAR emphasised the importance of disaster awareness and said, "This training organised within the scope of the City of Peace Tokat Project initiated by our Governorship is of great importance in order to ensure that our personnel are prepared for disasters. Thanks to such trainings, we can better protect both ourselves and our environment against possible disasters."

Civil Defence Specialist Bekir SİLAHLI gave information about the content of the training and said, "Disasters are risks that we may encounter at every moment of our lives. Therefore, it is very important to increase disaster awareness and be prepared. Today, we have given practical information to the personnel on how they should behave in disaster situations."

This training organised at the Treasurer's Office is considered as an important step both in terms of raising disaster awareness of public employees and achieving the goals of the City of Peace Tokat Project.
