Consumer Rights Training was given to University Students

About the Event

15 March Consumer Week and within the scope of the "Peaceful City Tokat" project carried out under the coordination of Tokat Governorship, an information meeting on "Consumer Rights" was held. Tokat Higher School Director Şükriye SAKAR, Tokat Provincial Director of Trade Ali Osman SAKAR, Consumer Arbitration Committee Rapporteurs Bahattin DIFYELİ and Anıl TAKÇI, academic and administrative staff of the higher school and students attended the meeting.

In the programme, the Consumer Arbitration Committee was introduced and important information about consumer rights was given to the participants. In addition, the programme continued in the form of question-answer and answers were given to the questions that the participants were curious about the subject. At the end of the meeting, School Director Şükriye SAKAR presented a certificate of appreciation to the participants.

"Peaceful City Tokat" project contributes to building a healthier society by raising awareness of the people living in Tokat and defending their rights. Such events are of great importance for the public to be aware of consumer rights and to use their rights more effectively.
