Making the opening speech of the programme, Cihat Zülfüoğulları stated that the aim of the panel was to raise awareness in the society. Speaking at the panel "If Alcohol is a Problem, There is a Solution" organised within the scope of "City of Peace Tokat" project, Osman Sarı, Deputy Governor of Tokat, emphasised that everyone should take responsibility for a livable city. Sarı said, "Within the scope of Peace City Tokat project, we plan such activities from time to time together with Green Crescent and Non-Governmental Organisations. Of course, the purpose of this is how to be a livable city, what is our duty? As Necip Fazıl Master said, if a young person kills in America, he says a generation, a youth who can question whether I am the cause of it. In our society, there is a trend towards unpredictable situations with a small nervous breakdown, this must be prevented. We all have duties. In the City of Peace Tokat project, such activities will continue within two years. "he said.

The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Bilge Hilal Çadırcı, Dean of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Pharmacy. Panellists Uz. Psychologist İlkay Soykal, YEDAM Psychologist Psk. Enver Özdemir, YEDAM Shu. Elif Sevim Yılmaz and representatives of Alcoholics Anonymous Sober Living Association presented information to the participants about the methods to be followed in the fight against addiction.

In the panel, expert speakers discussed the negative effects of alcohol addiction on the individual and society in detail and shared the ways to overcome this problem. While emphasising the importance of social support mechanisms in the fight against addiction, the harmful effects of alcohol on health and scientific data were also presented to the participants. In addition, various solution suggestions and awareness-raising information were provided to make the participants more aware of alcohol addiction.
